THE PINNACLE OF MOTOR CATAMARANS: THE AQUILA 50 YACHT

IMMENSE SPACE

The Aquila 50 is a massive 16 meters (52 feet) long and nearly 8 meters wide, offering incredible space not only for a mono-hull but even among larger catamarans. These dimensions, however, don’t come at the expense of design—it's sleek and graceful, far removed from the awkward look of many motorized catamarans. The Aquila 50's design gives it the characteristics of an "Explorer Yacht," blending functionality with luxury.

The main deck is an expansive living area that flows seamlessly from the exterior dining space inside. One standout feature is the bar facing the interior kitchen, with an opening window that extends the boat's space. The layout includes a large L-shaped kitchen, a spacious lounge, and dining for up to 10 guests. Thoughtfully designed, this area can be enclosed to offer comfort and protection in all weather conditions.

Storage is abundant, including an impressive underfloor area for everything from luggage to supplies.

The owner’s cabin feels more like a private apartment, with a King-size bed, large windows offering panoramic views, and a spacious dressing room. The bathroom features double sinks, a large shower, and ample storage. For long stays, this space has everything needed to live in comfort.

Additional cabins can be configured for the owner’s preference, with options for three or four cabins and crew accommodations.

BOW AREA AND OUTDOOR SPACES

The bow of the Aquila 50 is designed as an additional living area, with a large lounge and a sunbathing area that can easily be converted into a dining space with shade. The seating is spacious, and with adjustable backs, it can also be transformed into a sunbathing platform for multiple guests.

The flybridge is easily accessible from both the rear and bow. Offering 60 square meters of space, it’s an entertainer’s paradise with a bar, sunbathing area, and a dining setup. The forward section is dedicated to navigation, with twin pilot chairs and excellent visibility in all directions.

PERFORMANCE AND COMFORT

Testing the Aquila 50 Yacht in Clearwater, Florida, we encountered strong winds and waves from two hurricanes. The boat handled beautifully, showing its solid construction with no issues. Equipped with 480-horsepower Volvo D6 engines, the yacht glided effortlessly, maintaining stability, comfort and safety at speeds of up to 22 knots. Despite its size the fuel consumption is impressively low, allowing for extended range. At full throttle, the boat easily reaches 21 knots, further proving the quality of its design.

The Aquila 50 is a truly impressive vessel, offering a combination of space, luxury, and performance. It’s the perfect choice for those seeking an "Explorer Yacht" that promises comfort, practicality, and exhilarating performance on the water. Whether on long cruises or short getaways, the Aquila 50 ensures you’ll never want to leave the water—or go unnoticed.
